Facultatea de Științe ale Naturii și Științe Agricole are in componentă un singur departament – Departamentul de Stiinţe Naturale- în care își desfășoara activitatea tot staff-ul academic constituit din 38 de cadre didactice, din două secretare, 6 laborante si doi tehnicieni. Corpul profesoral a este reprezentat in prezent de 38 cadre didactice  titulare (5 profesori universitari, 13 conferentiari universitari, 18 sefi de lucrari/lectori universitari, 2 asistenti universitari) la care se adaugă 11 cadre didactice asociate.  Dintre cadrele didactice titulare cu funcția de profesor, trei  detin abilitarea de conducător de doctorat, doi  in domeniul Biologie afiliati IOSUD al UOC, si unul in domeniul Agronomie. Un conferentiar de la specializarea Geografie detine de asemenea abilitare in domeniu.
